About The Giggling Pig The Giggling Pig is a very giggly place located at New Haven, CT! It's a place to be inspired, create and giggle! The Giggling Pig is your Happy Place! From painting on canvases to hiking to painting in nature! We do a little bit of everything here at The Giggling Pig. With founder, Hannah Perry and co-owner, Melissa Mongillo, at the wheel— the studio focuses on spreading goodness through art and has been able to cultivate sweet young artist.

Schools Offering Various Art Classes For Children

The Giggling Pig hosts age-specific, structured classes:

Piglets (Ages 6 Weeks to All Ages) A drop-in class, geared towards fine motor skills, creativity and fun in a relaxed atmosphere.

Tiny Art (Ages 4–6): Kids learn basics of the art world, such as blending and composition while being free to express themselves.

Intermediate Art (Ages 7–9): Students investigate the use of different art materials, such as clay and watercolor, providing them with a deeper understanding of composition and color theory.

Art Club (Ages 7–12): An hour-and-a-half long class during which kids create detailed works of art, through arts classes New Haven CT exploring different media to reflect their individual styles.

Advanced Art (8–16): This 2-hour class will focus on more advanced techniques including shading and blending which will give students the opportunity to work independently on one of a kind projects.

Participation in Programs Outside of Classes

In addition to regular lessons, The Giggling Pig offers seasonal events, a summer program and themed-birthday parties as part of plenty of chances for kids to experience the act of creation. The studio also features scout and troop workshops, where creativity meets utility.
